I WAS writing 31 days in a row about Messy Motherhood and I haven't written in about a week.
Two things you should know about me:
1. I don't like to start things I can't finish or that I can't finish well. I don't like to write an appointment down in my calendar if I potentially can't make it. So I didn't enter into the 31 Day Challenge thinking I might quit. I had a plan, I had a ton of images made, I even had a fair amount of my writing done. But in the end, life got messy and motherhood has been really messy and beautiful, and the living has trumped the writing. And that is good.
2. I'm typically way more hopeful/positive/naive about how things are going to go than anyone else. So even though we kept saying "This is going to be a CRAZY BUSY fall." - I really thought I could blog every day and make it happen. But there was just no way.
Now that it's all said and done, I'm genuinely really glad to just extend the time I have to write and think on Messy Motherhood over the next few months. I'll keep the landing page the same and keep adding links to it. I still have a lot to say and a lot to process and I'm excited to bang it all out here.
Thanks you guys for listening and adding your thoughts. I can't wait to keep talking together about it.
