paranoia averted

I really love blogging. I love talking about things that are important to my life and reading about others. I truly feel flattered that anyone would want to read what I have to say. Truly.

So last week when I wrote my little political blog, I was so freaked out when I really quickly got a nasty, nasty, nasty comment back. I took the blog down (as I previously mentioned), and kind of got scared of blogging for a bit. I mean in the time it took me to walk downstairs I got a comment that was so vile & revolting, I was a little scared someone was going to come after me and get me. I took a few days to think about it - do I really want my thoughts so public? Should I talk less about my kiddos? Hm....

So last night, I was hanging out with Kalle and Shawn and was talking about how much it scared me. With a burst of laughter from my left and a flash, Shawn was off the bed that we were playing cards on, dying laughing. That little rascal wrote the comment. Just to be mean. Just to freak me out. I wish I could say I was mad, but I was really so relieved there wasn't some pyscho stalking my blog that I had to laugh about it.

All that being said, I'm still going to be careful about protecting my family on the internet, but I'm not as scared anymore. If you want to leave a mean comment on
Shawn's blog
, feel free to do so. Just remember that it is Kalle's blog too & she doesn't deserve the meanness. Direct your comments only to him.
